ST-1100 Sports Tourer atop Loveland Pass ( 11,900ft)

Though this is primarily a kayak building site, I've been kayaking and riding motorcycles in Colorado for over 25 years, and have ridden most paved roads in the state. It seemed only natural to combine my two favorite activities on one site. My current sport-touring bikes include a 1991 ST-1100, a 2005 FJR-1300, and a 2008 Triumph Sprint.

Rides covered on this site include those in the Denver / Front Range area. These are shorter day rides, but provide lots of great scenery. Many of the rides will begin in the foothills west of Denver, and focus on the many canyon roads that climb to the front range. Later, longer rides will be added.
