The Sea Ranger folding kayak at the Osprey Point put-In. The yellow residue along the shoreline is pine pollen. To reach the lake take Coal Creek Canyon (Hwy 72) to the Gross Reservoir turnoff ( County Rd. 77). This dirt road winds it's way several miles to the lake. There is very limited parking at the put-in.

Winds in this area can reach epic proportions, with nearby Wondervu recording winds in excess of 100mph. Need I say more ?
