Gross Reservoir is located off Hwy 72 near Wondervu , Colorado. Starting this year, the use of canoes, kayaks, and row boats is permitted on the lake. What's great for paddlers is that no other type of watercraft is allowed. The lake has 440 surface acres and a 10.9 mile shoreline. The scenery is great and the solitude is a welcome relief from the crowded conditions found on many Colorado lakes. In addition, no entrance fee is charged for access to the lake.
