This ride begins in Golden, Colorado and follows Hwy. 93 north along the foothills for 8 miles until reaching Hwy. 72 ( Coal Creek Canyon). The pic above was taken at this intersection and shows the entrance to the canyon a couple of miles to the west. This is a loop ride that follows Coal Creek Canyon (Hwy. 72) for 20 miles to the Peak to Peak Highway ( Hwy. 119) and returns 20 miles via Boulder Canyon to Boulder. In Boulder, Hwy. 93 returns you the final 15 miles south to Golden. Starting and finishing in Golden is a distance of approximately 65 twisty miles. Let's Ride !
